International Red Sanders Smuggler, Kollam Gangireddy is said to have funded the election expenses of several YSR Congress MLAs of Rayalaseema in the last elections. AP CID and Police have managed to bring him to AP after he was arrested in Mauritius.

YSR Congress disassociated itself from the smuggler but then the connections seem to be continuing. The other day, Railway Kodur Police have brought him to the court for a hearing. YSR Congress Railway Koduru MLA, Koramutla Srinivasulu and other leaders of the party went to the court to talk to him.
But then, the Police did not permit them to talk to Gangireddy and YSR Congress leaders have to go back disappointed. It has become the talk of constituency about an MLA trying to meet an International Smuggler. Such things will only belittle YSR Congress in the eyes of the people.
