Anantapur MP Gorantla Madhav got himself into a vulgar video call scandal a few months ago. The MP got the support of the party and he escaped abusing the opposition.
He has been maintaining a low profile since then. The MP found himself in another controversy now. There are allegations against the MP that he is not paying house rent and power bills.
The house owner Mallikarjuna Reddy says the MP is due for more than 2 Lakh Rupees towards the rend and power bills.
The MP is living in this rented house for four years and is not paying rent and power bills for many months.
According to a story in Andhrajyothy, the house owner claims that the brother of a YCP MLA has threatened Mallikarjuna Reddy if he pressurizes to vacate the house.
“I asked them to vacate the house. The MP’s followers are threatening to kill me by getting me trampled under Tipper lorries,” the house owner claims.
Police also got involved in the issue after Mallikarjuna Reddy protested before the house but the MP did not give any assurance of vacating the house.
The MP or the YSR Congress is yet to respond on this issue.
