We have seen Leader of Opposition, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for becoming restless on Speaker Kodela Siva Prasada Rao. Jagan went on to even put up a no confidence motion on Speaker immediately after a no confidence motion on the government, there by creating history. Jagan is at loggerheads with Speaker alleging favouring TDP in Assembly and sitting on disqualification petitions of the defected MLAs.

The other day Kodela in a TV interview vented his anger on increasing money role in politics. He went on to say that he had to spend 11 Crore in the last elections and called for people to restrain from accepting money for votes. Kodela made these comments in the anticipation of clean politics.
But YSR Congress and Sakshi made an issue out of it and is demanding Kodela’s resignation as he himself agreed about spending more than the prescribed amount. Role of money in elections is an open secret, not even one MLA in the country including those from YSR Congress, may not have won with out spending money, but YSR Congress is in a revenge mode on Kodela and is using it to maximum extent.
