It is known that Araku MP Kothapalli Geetha is at loggerheads with YSR Congress and is making verbal attacks on the party for some time. There are reports that she will be joining the ruling party very soon. To counter Geetha, YSR congress deployed one more ST lady MLA from Paderu, Gaddi Eshwari on her. Eshwari who was so far confined to only counter attacks on Geetha on Tuesday launched a complaint with Election Commission that Kothapalli Geetha is not at all a ST but submitted a fake certificate like that.
But according to the rules, if the party president who gave a fake candidate B-form to contest election should make sure that he brings to the notice of Election Commission regarding the fraud. But in this case as YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is silent, the EC can initiate action on him. Knowing about this rule through media, YSR Congress immediately arranged a media interaction with Eshwari and made her say that she gave the complaint in personal capacity and Jagan is not aware of this entire episode.
