The recent developments involving former Chief Minister and TDP President Chandrababu Naidu have sent shockwaves through the political landscape of Andhra Pradesh. He was taken into custody and subsequently sent to remand for 14 days following a decision by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) court.
Interestingly, members of the ruling YSRCP expressed jubilation, with Andhra Pradesh Minister RK Roja even setting off fireworks to celebrate the court’s decision. Roja after the verdict, stating that it marks only the beginning of something bigger.
However, the question arises: If this was solely the outcome of the court’s verdict and a legitimate action by the CID, why are YSRCP ministers celebrating it as their own victory?
Is there a suspicion that they played a role in orchestrating a fabricated case against Chandrababu Naidu, netizens on social commenting after seeing Roja’s overboard celebrations.
While political one-upmanship is a common occurrence, it is unusual to witness a ruling party engage in what appears to be unethical revenge politics.
If it’s an act of law,
If it’s an act of CID,Why is the ruling party celebrating it as their win ? Interesting Qs.#ChandrababuArrest pic.twitter.com/w48kkIxeuR
