Delhi: The central government of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) reiterated that Amaravati serves as Andhra Pradesh’s capital. Additionally, it is said that the BJP is steadfast in its support of the capital of the state.

The government addressed the state capital issue of Andhra Pradesh in the Rajyasabha.
According to Minister of Urban Development Kaushal Kumar, the master plans pertaining to 28 states in the nation have been approved by the central government. He also added that Amaravati is one of those states which has master plan that got approval from the government.
