Attack On Barrelakka!

Sirisha, also known as Barrelakka, is running independently for the Kollapur constituency, positioning herself as a voice for the unemployed youth in Telangana. Unfortunately, her campaign faced an attack by unknown individuals yesterday.

During a visit to Vennacharla village in Pedda Kothapally Mandal as part of her campaign, Sirisha encountered this assault. Her brother sustained injuries in the attack, leaving her deeply distraught.

Sirisha gained attention through a social media video where she criticized the government for overlooking the struggles of unemployed youth, likening the situation to everyone idly grazing buffaloes without gainful employment. This outspoken stance led to her being dubbed as “Barrelakka” by online users.
