The Lok Sabha elections are around the corner, and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) hopes to win for the third time in a row. Meanwhile, the party is focusing particularly on Telangana in South India. In the 2019 General elections, the BJP won four out of 17 Lok Sabha seats in the state. Now, they want to increase that number. So, they began their campaign much earlier than the BRS and Congress parties.

Today, Union Minister and Telangana BJP president Kishan Reddy started the Vijaya Sankalp Yatra, which covers all 17 constituencies in the state from February 20 to March 1. On the other hand, both BRS and Congress have not finalized any action plan for the elections yet.

According to reports, the BJP will likely form the government again, with Narendra Modi becoming Prime Minister for the third time. This factor could help BJP candidates in Telangana get more votes.

On the other side, BRS lost the recent Assembly elections and may not have much influence in Parliament if elected. To prove their prowess, BRS should have started its ground campaigning by now. But that didn’t happen.

Meanwhile, Congress is in power in the state but is very ineffective in the centre. That factor may affect them in the elections. Additionally, both parties haven’t come up with any agenda for the Lok Sabha elections yet. Thus, by starting the campaign this early, BJP has definitely got an upper hand in Telangana and we have to see how things unfold for them in the future.
