BRS Party has distributed B-forms to 109 aspiring candidates in preparation for the upcoming Telangana Assembly Elections. Meanwhile, there is a lot of anticipation around the Alampur and Narsapur seats.
Previously, Chief Minister KCR had announced the allocation of the Alampur seat to the incumbent MLA, Abraham. However, there are reports of MLC Challa Venkatrami Reddy contesting this decision and seeking the ticket for himself. Consequently, the BRS party has refrained from issuing the B-form to Abraham thus far.
On the flip side, it has been reported that BRS has all but confirmed Sunitha Laxma Reddy as the candidate for the Narsapur seat. Nonetheless, this decision has met with opposition from the supporters of the current MLA, Madan Reddy. We have to see how BRS manages to handle the tricky situation of these two seats.
