Former MP of Eluru, Maganti Venkateshwarlu aka Babu, has been summoned by the Narsingi Police in connection with a case related to a Chandrababu rally. It has been reported that Babu was subjected to questioning at the Narsingi Police Station a couple of days ago.
On September 16, a huge protest and rally took place in Hyderabad, led by IT workers and TDP leaders, condemning Chandrababu’s arrest. During this rally, Babu was accused of engaging in a verbal war with the police, leading to the registration of a case against him.

Following the incident, legal action was taken against Babu, and he was officially served with notices under CRPC 21A.
