The Salem Central Crime Branch has summoned two individuals, including Choudhary, the husband of film actress Namitha, concerning a fraud case related to the appointment to Tamil Nadu Divisional Chairman of the Micro and Small Medium Industries Council.
The complaint alleges that Gopalswamy was cheated of Rs. 50 lakh with promises of the post. Namitha’s husband, Chaudhary, who recently assumed the position, has been summoned for questioning.

The police have also summoned Dushyant Yadav, the national secretary of the council. The inquiry is set to take place in Salem and the crime branch is set to investigate the same.
