Young actress Suhani Bhatnagar, who was shot to fame with the 2016 blockbuster Dangal, passed away today in Delhi. She was just 19. Reportedly, she had side effects due to medication after suffering a leg fracture. However, the official confirmation about the cause of her death is yet to be given.
Suhani played the role of young Babita Phogat in Dangal. Her performance was lauded by the audience as well as the critics. She was later seen in a few television commercials.
Aamir Khan Productions confirmed Suhani’s death through social media. “We are deeply saddened to hear about our Suhani passing away. Our heartfelt condolences to her mother Poojaji, and the entire family. Such a talented young girl, such a team player, Dangal would have been incomplete without Suhani,” read the note. “Suhani, you will always remain a star in our hearts May you rest in peace,” it was further added.
