Telangana‘s New Chief Minister Revanth Reddy had announced that Drugs-free Telangana is his priority. He also directed the officials not to spare anyone if found to be consuming drugs.
Accordingly, the Narcotics Department made an announcement.

“We are going to have a constant vigil on the Film Industry, Pubs, and Bars. We are watching Resorts and Rave Parties. Schools and Colleges are also being watched. On the lines of Greyhounds and Octopus, police will be trained to curb the menace of Drugs,” the department announced.
The Department also gave a dedicated complaint number for the Public to reach out with their complaints on Drugs. “Anyone who has information about Drugs can call and inform on 87126 71111,” they added.
