During New Year festivities, Hyderabad’s prime areas faced extensive traffic congestion. Jubilee Hills and Banjara Hills experienced significant gridlock as crowds flocked to temples such as the Puri Jagannath Temple, TTD Temple, Peddamma Temple, and ISKON Temple.
This influx led to severe congestion along Jubilee Hills’ Road No: 1, 36, 45, and Banjara Hills’ Road No: 1, 2, 3, and 10, with vehicles stranded for nearly a kilometre. Adding to the chaos, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s commute from the Secretariat to Jubilee Hills contributed to more traffic, causing further delays as numerous vehicles were halted.
