The BJP today accused the Congress party of channeling illicitly amassed money from Chhattisgarh to defeat the BJP in the recent Karnataka Assembly elections.
Tejasvi Surya, the MP from Karnataka, was addressing his supporters on Wednesday. He alleged that Chattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel looted money from his State and sent it to Karnataka. He added that the illegitimate money was deployed to unseat the Basavaraj Bommai government led by the BJP.

The BJP also accused the Congress of promoting “corruption, dynasty and appeasement politics”.
