Of late, Netflix India is coming up with spine-chilling documentaries based on Indian crime stories. After coming with documentaries on incidents like The Burrari Deaths and The Jolly Joseph case, Netflix is coming up with a documentary on the popular Sheena Bora case. Titled The Indrani Mukerjea Story: Buried Truth, this documentary will premiere on February 23.
Releasing the first look poster, Netflix India tweeted, “A sensational scandal that rocked the entire nation, with one family’s darkest secrets at the center of it all. #TheIndraniMukerjeaStoryBuriedTruth, coming on 23 February only on Netflix!”
2012’s Sheena Bora death case is one of the most popular crime investigations in the country, where it was alleged that Sheena was killed by her mother Indrani Mukerjea and step father Peter Mukerjea.
