A 33-year-old man from Manhattan jumped 30 feet into the North Pool at the 9/11 Memorial in New York City on Tuesday.
Onlookers were horrified, but miraculously, he survived with just a leg injury. Emergency medical services helped the man, who hurt his left leg and back.

He was taken to the hospital for injuries that are not life-threatening. Charges are pending, according to officials.
