Renowned BC leader and former minister Mukesh Goud’s son, Vikram Goud, has officially parted ways with the Bharatiya Janata Party, delivering a significant setback for the party just ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in Telangana.
Vikram Goud, a notable BC figure in Hyderabad, holds considerable influence, and his departure is expected to affect the BJP in Telangana. He formally submitted his resignation letter to Kishan Reddy, the president of BJP Telangana.
In his letter, Vikram Goud asserted that the BJP lacks appreciation for dedicated leaders like himself, emphasizing a perceived lack of discipline within the party. He specifically pointed out the absence of a guarantee from the high command regarding a parliamentary ticket as a key factor in his decision to leave the party.
