Over the past few days, there have been speculations regarding Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy’s potential departure from the BJP and his return to his former party, the Congress.
Today, Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy officially confirmed this news by announcing his resignation from the BJP. He is scheduled to join the Congress this Friday in New Delhi in the presence of Rahul Gandhi.
In his official statement, Rajgopal expressed his disappointment with the BJP, citing its failure to present a viable alternative to the BRS party in Telangana and its inability to address the issues of corruption within KCR’s government. There are also rumors that Rajgopal Reddy is considering contesting from Gajwel, challenging CM KCR, in addition to his traditional contention in Munugode. However, the final decision on this matter rests with the Congress party.
