Prime Minister Narendra Modi displayed a humane gesture during his roadshow in Varanasi by stopping his convoy to let an ambulance pass. A video clip from the event shows the prime minister’s convoy slowing down to make way for the emergency vehicle. As soon as the ambulance moved ahead, the convoy resumed its journey.

This isn’t the first time PM Modi has shown such consideration. In September last year, his convoy came to a halt in Gujarat to facilitate the passage of an ambulance. Similarly, in November 2022, he stopped his convoy after a rally in Himachal Pradesh’s Kangra to let an ambulance through.
The Prime Minister’s visit to Varanasi involves the launch of 37 projects valued at over ₹19,000 crore for the region’s development.
