Rajinikanth Calls Them “Gods”

In a country like India which is influenced by patriarchal norms, people prefer sons over daughters. However, Superstar Rajinikanth is an exception. He doesn’t view his daughters merely as blessings from God, but rather as a form of the almighty.

Speaking at the audio launch of Lal Salaam, Rajinikanth stated that if someone asks for a boy child, God just grants them their wish. “But when you ask for a girl child, parents will get God in the form of a girl,” stated Rajini. These statements are now winning the hearts of people and the clip is going viral on social media.

Lal Salaam is directed by Rajini’s daughter Aishwarya. He played an important role in the film, which is set for a grand release on February 9.
