Telangana’s Chief Minister, Revanth Reddy, assured that the government has no intention of scrapping Pharma City or the Metro project. Instead, alterations will be made to the Metro route to prioritize the public’s welfare.
Addressing the media, Revanth outlined plans to extend the Metro route from the Old City to the Airport. He said that there is a distance of 32 kilometres from BHEL to the Airport. He highlighted the integration of the Nagole-LB Nagar Metro line with the Airport route at Chadrayanagutta. Additionally, he mentioned potential extensions of Metro corridors from Miyapur to Ramachandrapuram and Mindspace to the Financial District, if deemed necessary.
Revanth emphasized the creation of environmentally friendly, zero-pollution clusters between Pharma City, Regional Ring Road, and Outer Ring Road. These clusters will offer accommodations and comprehensive facilities to employees working in the industries within those areas.
