The movie unit of Young Rebel Star Prabhas’ much-anticipated upcoming movie Salaar has finally kicked off its promotional campaign with the release of its first single, Sooreede. Penned by Krishna Kanth (KK) and brought to life by the melodic composition of Ravi Basrur, the song introduces audiences to the emotional core of the film. Harini Vaituri’s soulful rendition added the much-needed depth to the beautiful and meaningful lyrics.
Sooreede song captures the essence of the friendship between Deva and Varadha, portrayed by Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran, respectively. Eeswari Rao, essaying Deva’s mother, is assumed to be the voice behind this heartfelt slow track in the movie.
On the flip side, Sooreede lacks the high-intensity, situational songs seen in KGF, directed by the same music director.
The film is set for a grand two-part release, with the first installment, ‘Salaar: Ceasefire,’ hitting theaters on December 22nd.”
