Security Flaws During CBN’s Visit

Security lapses were observed during Telugu Desam Party chief Chandrababu Naidu’s visit to the Kanakadurga bridge in Vijayawada. Despite prior information about the visit, officials blocked a lorry on the bridge to repair an electric light, causing concern among TDP leaders. Chandrababu Naidu’s convoy faced a ten-minute halt as traffic came to a standstill on the bridge.

NA commandos intervened, clearing the traffic and allowing the convoy to proceed. The NA staff expressed strong displeasure over the obstruction caused by the vehicle repairing electrical equipment on the bridge, highlighting the need for improved coordination during VIP visits to prevent inconvenience.
