Andhra Pradesh Congress’s President YS Sharmila filed a complaint against the YCP activists for allegedly spreading false information and tarnishing her reputation. Sharmila filed her complaint to the Cybercrime police in Hyderabad.
Sharmila claimed that she has been deliberately targeted, with derogatory content, including posts and YouTube videos, being circulated against her since assuming the role of Congress President in Andhra Pradesh.

She asserted that these negative social media posts are aimed at damaging her image, and stated that failure to address the issue would result in further defamation. Sharmila urged the police to take appropriate action against those responsible.
