Yarlagadda Venkatrao, the party in-charge of the Gannavaram constituency and a senior leader of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), is currently engaged in performing a Sudarshana Yagam.
His fervent prayers during this ritual are dedicated to the hope of witnessing Chandrababu Naidu’s return as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. The Sudarshana Yagam is taking place in Kanuru and is scheduled to span three days.

As of recent events, Chandrababu Naidu faced arrest in September in connection with a skill development case. Subsequently, he was granted interim bail for four weeks on medical grounds and is recently underwent medical treatment in Hyderabad.
