TS Polls: Congress Leader Attempts Suicide!

Congress leader Kasula Balaraju attempted suicide by consuming insecticide after he was denied a party ticket for the Bansuwada constituency. His despair stemmed from being overlooked in favor of non-local candidate Enugu Ravinder Reddy.

Kasula Balaraju, a prominent Backward Classes (BC) leader, had filed his application as a Congress candidate for the election but was shocked by the last-minute decision to allocate the ticket to Ravinder Reddy.

Following the suicide attempt, he was hospitalized and later transferred to a private hospital in Nizamabad. The incident has raised concerns about ticket allocation and the recognition of local leaders in the Congress party.
