Power Star Pawan Kalyan and Thalapathy Vijay are among the top stars in South India. While Pawan enjoys immense stardom in Telugu states, Vijay has a huge fan following in Tamil Nadu. Both of them remade each other’s films as well. Now, even their political journeys seem similar.
When Pawan Kalyan was at the peak stage of his career, he entered politics and decided to take a break from films. Recently, Vijay announced his political party Tamizhaga Vetri Kazhagam and decided to exit films.
Vijay is currently working on GOAT under the direction of Venkat Prabhu. He will do one more film after GOAT and that would be his last movie. He will later focus on politics and also contest in the 2026 Tamil Nadu Assembly Elections.
Both actors took a bold step into politics when they were at the peak stage of their respective careers. While Pawan is at a certain stage in his political career, we have to see how things pan out for Vijay.
