YS Sharmila, YSRTP president, expressed her readiness to collaborate with the Congress Party. She revealed plans to visit Delhi on Wednesday to meet Congress leaders, accompanied by her son Raja Reddy and future daughter-in-law Priya Atluri.
Paying respects at YSR Samadhi in Idupulapaya, YS Vijayamma joined them in this decision. Highlighting their past support for the Congress party in Telangana, Sharmila emphasized their role in Congress’s success in 31 seats. She clarified that their decision to work with Congress is rooted in the party being the largest secular force, offering security and assurance to all citizens.
Sharmila’s upcoming trip to Delhi aims to strengthen the collaboration further. As she headed to Idupulapaya for her son’s marriage, Sharmila sought blessings from YSR, expressing her commitment to the new alliance. All questions about this decision will be addressed in the next two days.
