Congress leader Y S Sharmila recently merged her YSRTP party with Congress. On this note, she recently met Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy to extend an invitation to her son’s upcoming wedding.

Her merge with Congress took place on January 5. Before officially joining Congress, Sharmila visited her brother Jagan Mohan Reddy, along with her husband Anil Kumar, to invite them to the family event. She also met Congress party president Mallikarjun Kharge in New Delhi and praised the party claiming that it is the largest secular party in the country.
