The internet has recently been bursting out on one greedy mom for emptying an entire bowl of Halloween candy. The greedy act was caught on musician Cody Tate’s ring cam, who had put a generous offering outside in a plastic cauldron as a part of trick-or-treats so that he could relax undisturbed in his home while children of the neighborhood enjoy the spooky festival.
The mercenary was caught red-handed in her heist in which she can be seen emptying out the entire bowl with a group of children. The sign that Cody had put in asking people to only take 1 was completely ignored, with the woman in gray hoodie racing to the bowl along with the group of kids and frantically grabbing the delicacies, shoving it in their rags. What makes matters worse is that the woman, who also seems to be the children’s mom was smirking for the entirety of her act and one boy in red even made sure that no loot was left behind by taking one last look at the bowl.
Code posted the video on his Instagram account with the caption saying, “this is why you can’t trust people” and added that he couldn’t believe that it would be adults doing this. He asked his followers to kindly repost the video so that everyone can see the face of these culprits who spoiled the Halloween of so many kids and justice can be served. The video has since been doing rounds on the internet, especially on social media platform ‘X’, with one of the reposts garnering well over 863k views with people expressing their angst at the culprits and wishing for a better society where we don’t steal the share of others.
