A recent incident has come to light, in which Rakesh Kumar Gupta, a BJP Leader from Bihar has accused his wife Isha Modak of fraud worth Rs.30-35 Lakh, including some jewellery.
The couple had tied the knot back in April 2024 through a court marriage. This dispute became public knowledge after Isha allegedly left for her home after taking Rs.5 Lakhs from Rakesh on 3rd December.

He went further to accuse her of having married another man named Rajiv Kundu, adding fuel to the fire.
The statements of the BJP Leader have received strong opposition from Isha’s mother, who has refuted any claims of marriage, stating that only an engagement took place between them.

In a very obvious move, she has also denied receiving any kind of monetary payment from Rakesh.
Social media has leapt on this issue, with people taking it to the comments to express their opinions. One user said, “How can someone give away ₹30 lakh without any proof or agreement? This raises many questions.”

Another termed it as the leader’s fault as he commented, “This isn’t just fraud; it’s a serious lapse in judgment by the leader. He should’ve been cautious.”
Some have also come forward to sympathise with Rakesh, calling him an innocent victim of a coldly calculated move from Isha.
This issue, if true from Rakesh’s perspective, paints a much bigger picture of similar attacks on political personalities for personal gains, as emphasized by many online.
