Reports say that a group of medical students turned their hostel space into an adult rave party. The activities included loud music and dancing. Many viewers were surprised to see such behaviour from students training to become future doctors.
Authorities initially tried to dismiss the event as a youthful mistake. However, the situation worsened when the boys were seen dancing half naked and allegedly misbehaving with the police who reached the spot. This added to the public anger.
After the videos went viral, the administration finally took action. The students involved were fined 10000 rupees. The resident of the hostel room where the party took place has been evicted permanently
