Many retired Indian cricketers had the opportunity to defeat their Pakistani counterparts once again as India Champs won the World Championship Of Legends held in the UK defeating the team from Pakistan in the final. Players like Yuvraj Singh, Suresh Raina and Harbhajan Singh were seen celebrating after the victory.
One of the videos of these cricketers celebrating has faced huge criticism on the internet and fans are having a hard time understanding why they acted like this. Yuvraj Singh, Suresh Raina and Harbhajan Singh were seen walking limping which apparently looked like mocking.
Many people have heavily criticized this celebration and called it disgusting and insensitive towards disabled persons. It is not known why the players celebrated in the fashion but no reason seems enough to justify such an act.
Some have argued that they were mocking the Pakistani players for being injured. If it is the case then it’s not the first time it has happened in an Indian team. A few years back, a similar incident happened on field in an India vs Australia game but the team captain then, MS Dhoni, immediately stopped the players from behaving in this manner.
