Double Role! Groom Turns Priest At Own Wedding

Vivek Kumar, a groom from UP’s Saharanpur has recently been in the headlines due to a unique video of him going around on the internet. The video is from Vivek’s wedding, where he can be seen performing the dual role of the groom as well as the priest.

Owing to his confident way of chanting the mantras while performing the necessary rituals, the video quickly went viral, igniting curiosity in the minds of the people.

Vivek, who is a B.Pharma student at Gurukul Kangri University, has had a deep-seated interest in Vedic culture and traditions since an early age, mostly due to his family being associated with the Arya Samaj.

Having learnt many such rituals under the guidance of Acharya Virendra Shastri, Vivek uses his knowledge by acting as a priest in many other weddings as well.
