He travelled in a white Innova fitted with red and blue lights. He moved with six to seven boys, creating the image of a VIP officer. During the day he taught students, while evenings were spent acting like a senior official.

Police investigations revealed several personal details that shocked many. He reportedly had four girlfriends, with three said to be pregnant. These revelations added another layer of controversy to the case.

During a fake inspection in Bhagalpur, he encountered a real SDM. When questioned about his rank, Gaurav lost control and slapped the SDM. Surprisingly, no official complaint was filed by the officer.

Gaurav used AI to create fake files, certificates and tender documents. He targeted businessmen by promising government contracts. In one instance, he allegedly took five crore rupees and two Innova cars.

He hails from Sitamarhi and ran the scam across several states. His brother in law Abhishek, a software trained professional, helped create fake IDs and documents. The case highlights the need for caution before trusting authority claims.
