Viral Video: Shocking Pregnancy Ritual; Is it Real?

Woman in staged ritual video

Rituals began as people searched for meaning in birth, death, and illness. Over time, elders and healers created customs to bring comfort and hope. Many were meant to bless families or help couples have children.

But some so-called rituals cross the line. Families force women through painful or degrading acts in the name of faith. Some are made to drink dirty water or stay locked up for hours, believing it will cure infertility. These are not cures they are abuse.

A recent video showed a woman sitting in water for 12 hours to “become pregnant.” Earlier, another viral clip made a similar claim about a Muslim woman kept in water for several days. That one turned out to be scripted.

The new video also seems fake the woman’s cries appear acted, the beatings staged, and the elder’s speech rehearsed. Such clips often aim to target a religion or spread false ideas.

Always check facts before sharing. Don’t forward or promote harmful videos. Real rituals should bring healing and peace, not pain or humiliation. Stand with victims, question abuse, and speak up for truth.
