A recent incident has come to light where a ‘fan’ tried to kiss actress Poonam Pandey in the pretence of taking a selfie with her.
Poonam Pandey was standing on a streetside while presumably talking to paparazzi when the man sneakily approached her to take a selfie.
Although the actress seemed visibly shaken by his sudden arrival, she agreed to take a selfie with him.
It was then that the man brought his lips closer to her in a cheeky attempt to plant a kiss on her cheek.
The actress quickly retaliated, stepping away from the man, while another person went ahead to separate the man from her.
Social media has been buzzing with comments ever since this video came out.
One user said, “Next time, just send her a bill for the oxygen you’re breathing near her since you think she owes you that much!”
Another commented, “Just because she’s famous doesn’t mean she’s public property. Disgusting behaviour!”
A third user seemed sceptical at the whole incident as he wrote, “Should have acted better, hire some good actor.”
Even if the incident was staged, the public needs to learn the concept of private space, and not force themselves upon celebrities or any individual in general, thus maintaining their own dignity.
