In a riveting turn of events, The Government of India has announced through its My Gov platform a first of its kind National Creators Award. The Award will be dedicated to celebrating excellence in the arena of content creators and influencers across social platforms, making it a really positive initiative.
As per the initial announcement, the award will focus across 20 differeny categories which include the likes of ‘Best Storyteller Award’ and ‘Best Creator of Social Change’. The government has particularly aimed at giving the awards a diverse range and it can be seen in the inclusion of sectors like education, sustainability and even gaming.
As for the eligibility to get nominated in the event, firstly one must not be a juvenile and be over 18 years in age. Secondly, out of the 20 categories the awards will be featuring, 1 will be dedicated towards international artists while for the other 19, one must be a citizen of the country of India.
The contestants will be evaluated on perimeters like creativity, impact and the ever important factor, reach, while the other deciding factors might be Innovation, entertainment and sustainability as well. Also, a panel made up of domain experts in government, media, academia and other important fields will be the ones judging the final nominations.
