
A heartwarming LinkedIn post featuring a Swiggy delivery partner named Pankaj has gone viral, drawing widespread attention and emotional responses online.
The post, shared by a Gurugram-based CEO, recounts a recent interaction where Pankaj arrived at his gate with his toddler daughter, Tun Tun, sitting quietly on the delivery bike. The child, reportedly just two years old, accompanies her father on deliveries due to the absence of any caregiver at home.

According to the post, the customer initially asked the delivery partner to come upstairs, but upon hearing a child’s voice during the call, he changed his mind and went down instead.
That is when he met Pankaj and learned that the little girl’s mother had passed away during childbirth. Her elder brother attends evening classes, leaving Pankaj with no option but to bring her along as he earns a living.

Despite the challenges, Pankaj reportedly remains soft-spoken and calm. He shared that some customers have made harsh remarks, telling him to “sit at home” if he cannot manage his responsibilities. Yet, he responds with nothing but a quiet smile.
The story has resonated with many across social media, prompting empathy, and promoting the dignity, and struggles of delivery workers and domestic helpers. While a number of users pointed out that women have been managing similar burdens for generations without recognition, pointing towards the gender bias that is prevalent.
