Hyderabad doctor cheated in magic vessel scam

Even educated people can fall into traps when greed takes over. In Hyderabad, a shocking case has come to light where a woman doctor was cheated of Rs. 1.5 crore by three men who claimed to possess a magical vessel that could double money.

The victim, identified as Dr. Priyanka, was told by the fraudsters that the vessel, supposedly worth Rs. 30 crore, had divine powers to multiply any amount kept inside it. Trusting their claims, she handed over Rs. 1.5 crore over several months, expecting to get her money doubled.

When nothing happened even after six months, Priyanka realised she had been cheated and filed a complaint. Police soon arrested the accused, Pendhurthi Srinivas, Vanumu Srinivas, and Korra Bangarraju, all residents of Araku Valley in Visakhapatnam district.

Officers seized Rs. 2.42 lakh in cash and a car from them. The case highlights how greed can cloud judgment, making even educated people easy victims of such scams. Police have urged the public not to fall for claims involving magical or divine objects promising wealth.
