The entire country is suffering through extreme heat waves. It’s just the end of May, and we are already facing such unbearable heat. This speaks volumes about the coming days, as June is likely to be even harsher.
Everyone, regardless of their socioeconomic status, is feeling the sun’s anger. The only difference is that one section has the tools and privileges to survive, while the other survives on God’s grace and their willpower.
The extreme heat we are facing is truly driving everyone mad. Current temperature data shows no sign of relief anytime soon. Recent trends indicate that Churu in Rajasthan has reached 50 degrees Celsius, while other areas of Rajasthan are in the range of 45 to 49 degrees. Even a place in Haryana has touched the 50-degree mark. Delhi is also not far behind, with temperatures ranging from 46 to 49 degrees.
Such extreme heat has led to several skin issues among people, making them afraid to go out in the sun. They are constantly using measures to keep their room temperature under control. To make matters worse, power cuts have added to the people’s woes. Everyone is frustrated and boiling with the heat waves. Right now, what our country desperately needs is the monsoon.
