Infosys Q4 FY 25 Profits

Infosys Q4 profit declines by 11.7% to Rs 7033 crore but its revenue rises to Rs 40,925 crore. India’s second largest IT company on Thursday reported a decline in consolidated net profit for the March quarter.

It had posted a profit of Rs 7969 crore in Q4 FY 2024. However, it exceeded its guidance for the full fiscal year. Infosys raised the 2024-25 fiscal year revenue guidance to 4.5-5 per cent, up from 3.75 to 4.50 per cent.

The big disappointment was in the guidance. The company guided for FY 26 revenue growth of 0-3%, significantly lower than estimates of 2-4%.

Meanwhile, the company reported revenue from operations at Rs 40,925 crore, up 7.92 per cent as against Rs 37,923 crore posted during the same period of FY 24.

Our guidance reflects uncertainty at the lower end. We are making sure we share with clients what is visible to us, the Infosys management team said during the press conference.

The IT company also clarified its stand on training of freshers. We have a rigorous way with training of freshers. We test them thrice during the period. If they succeed they stay on, else we find them other roles, the team said.

The IT major said hikes will be doled out in April, 2025, as planned.
