Apple has officially announced its next big event, scheduled for 9th September. At the centre of attention will be the launch of its new iPhone 17 lineup, promising major upgrades for Apple users.
The event will unveil four models: iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, and a brand-new addition, the iPhone 17 Air. This fresh lineup is expected to bring a blend of design changes and performance enhancements.
The standard iPhone 17 may feature a 6.6-inch OLED display with ProMotion, Dynamic Island, and Face ID. These updates aim to deliver a smoother user experience and better visual performance.
The iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max models are rumoured to come with a redesigned horizontal camera bar. Apple might also shift to aluminium frames, replacing titanium, with glass backs to support wireless charging.
The iPhone 17 Pro Max will likely house Apple’s new A19 Pro Chip, offering improved CPU, GPU, and NPU performance over its predecessor. It is also expected to introduce a vapour cooling system for better heat management.
Camera upgrades are also in focus. The 12MP front camera in the iPhone 16 may be replaced by a 24MP front camera, offering higher-quality selfies and video calls.
While several exciting features are expected, Apple may also choose to drop a few existing ones. More details will be shared during the event.
In India, the iPhone 17 Pro Max (256GB) could be priced at Rs. 1,64,990, a significant increase from the iPhone 16 Pro Max’s price of Rs. 1,44,990.
