Punjab’s Moga Robbery: Jeweller Tragically Gunned Down

Jeweller gunned robbers Punjab MogaIn Moga district of Punjab, a jewellery shop owner named Parminder Singh was killed. His shop was looted by 5 armed unidentified men. The robbers remain unidentified.

42-year-old Parminder Singh, also known as Vicky, was shot in stomach. The owner of the nearby shop took Parminder to the Moga civil hospital, from where he was referred to Ludhiana’s Dayanand Medical College and Hospital. Declared brought dead by doctors, police reported.

As the cops dig into the store records to figure out how much stuff was stolen, Singh’s family is claiming that the thieves made off with gold ornaments worth a crore

According to the police, five guys – three with guns and two with sharp weapons – walked into the shop around 2pm, pretending to be customers. A salesperson at the shop said, “They acted like they wanted to buy jewelry and were browsing. But when the jewelry boxes were on the counter, they whipped out their guns… and demanded the jewelry. The owner tried to shout for help, but they shot him in the stomach… he fell down, and they grabbed the gold ornaments and escaped.”

The Moga Senior Superintendent of Police, J Elanchezian, stated that the robbery was caught on the shop’s CCTV camera. Photos of the suspects have been obtained, and it appears that five individuals were involved. During the incident, the shop owner was shot and unfortunately passed away during treatment. The police are actively working to apprehend the culprits.
