Kamal Haasan’s Indian 2 Needs a Bad Rescue

Indian 2

Kamal Haasan’s recent cameo appearance as Supreme Yashkin in the movie Kalki 2898 AD has acquired the attention of movie buffs and acts as a savior of the Indian 2’s opening collection. Indian 2, starring Kamal Haasan and Siddharth in the lead and directed by Shankar, is tentatively planned to release on July 12. Although the movie was directed by Shankar and is a hit sequel to the critically acclaimed Indian, it doesn’t have the proper buzz among the audiences.

Indian 2’s shooting started in 2017. It took around 7 years for the director to release the movie, as it faced lots of issues during the making of the film. This 7-year gap played a major role in the deployment of the expectations of the movie. The music album of this movie, composed by Anirudh, was released a few weeks ago and didn’t fulfill the expectations of the audience, as Indian Part 1’s album, composed by AR Rahman, was a chartbuster.

The album and trailer for Indian 2 haven’t created expectations, and the team has started to do promotional events for the movie. All of a sudden, Kamal Haasan, who acted in a cameo role in the movie Kalki 2898 AD, was released on June 27th, which was a tremendous success, and the role of Supreme Yashkin played by the actor has been the talk of the town since the release of the movie. The hype, which wasn’t pulled off by the Indian 2 team, was single-handedly achieved by Supreme Yashkin. If the Indian 2 movie was so good, it may attract audiences after a few days or the first weekend, but for the initial pull or the opening day collection, there should be proper hype for the movie. Supreme Yashkin, the deadliest villain, single-handedly rescues Indian 2’s hype.
