Love scams in India are turning stranger than fiction, and the case of Looteri Dulhan Kajal from Mathura proves it. Kajal turned marriages into business deals, leaving behind a trail of shocked grooms and missing jewellery.
Police say Kajal didn’t work alone. Her parents, Bhag Singh and Saroj Devi, allegedly ran a family-style scam operation “Shaadi, Loot, Repeat.” Reports claim Bhag Singh charged ₹11 lakh from families before sending Kajal and her sister Tamanna for short-term “wedding appearances.”
The scheme was elaborate. Kajal married rich bachelors, stayed for a couple of days, and then vanished with valuables, leaving chaos behind. Her charm and confidence helped her win trust quickly.
The story’s final twist came when police caught Kajal in Gurugram. Officers say she looked as calm as ever, even while being arrested. Over ten men are believed to have fallen victim to her con.
Social media now calls her the “Looteri Dulhan of Instagram dreams.” But behind the viral fame is a harsh reminder love, greed, and status often collide in the most heartbreaking ways.
