Bank scams are a regular thing now and recently we got to know about a scam where you will get a registered post from some random company saying you have won money and to avail it you need to send your details or scan the QR Code on the voucher. If you do it then you lose your money.
But breaking through your biometric ?
According to sources, a case of Purnia Bihar came out where it was shown that a gang of people were trespassing one’s biometrics taking the information about the people and their Aadhaar Cards and taking money out of their bank without them even knowing about it.
They were breaching their thumb impression, Aadher and that’s how they were operating.
No OTP needed, No phone calls and No messages. But, no money in your bank account either.
This increasing amount of frauds are a grave topic of concern one should take care of.
