NRI Players In The IPL 2024!

The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 will auction 333 players for 10 teams. The auction will take place on December 19 in Dubai. Of these, 119 have foreign backgrounds. Three of them have Indian blood. They are:

Ish Sodhi: Twenty-nine-year-old leg-spinner Ifthikar Ahmed was born in Ludhiana, Punjab, but moved with his family to Auckland, New Zealand when he was four years old. He has also taken part in this previously, playing for the Rajasthan Royals in 2018 and 2019. At a base price of INR 75 lakh, he has already registered himself.

Rachin Ravindra: The New Zealand all-rounder was born in 1986 in Wellington and is of Indian Tamil lineage. In 2020, he was also part of the New Zealand team that went to the final of the Under-19 World Cup. He has entered himself at an auction base price of INR 50 lakh.

Prenelan Subrayen: Joshua Geary, 28, the off-spinner, was born in Durban, South Africa and is of Indian descent. He has registered himself at a base price of ₹ 20 lakh.

The IPL 2024 will feature 10 teams. There is a team limit of 25 players, with eight allowed from overseas. The overseas players add a lot to the IPL, both in terms of value and variety. They bring their skills, experience, and flair to the tournament. Among the many overseas players aiming to secure a team are those three players named above.
