
Dubai’s ‘Boho Cafe’ has been making rounds around the internet for a very strange reason — offering ‘gold-infused tea’ to its customers, while charging them Rs.1.1 lakh (AED 5,000)!
The cafe, owned by Indian-origin entrepreneur Sucheta Sharma, has introduced these extravagant offerings on the menu in order to make itself stand out from others.

The luxurious tea is served in silver cups, paired with a gold-dusted croissant. And the cherry on top is that you get to keep the silverware, that is if you manage to get them through customs!
And fear not, the cafe also has a budget-friendly option for us peasants. For a meagre price of Rs.3,500, you get the same golden experience without the ownership of the silverware.

The cafe has a very unique menu, catering to all sections of society, with items ranging from affordable Indian street food to exquisites like gold coffee, gold-infused water, gold burgers, and even gold ice cream.
As expected, social media has not held back in making the most out of the situation. One user wrote, “Now why would I want gold in my coffee and croissant?” while another joked, “Do I need to declare this to customs after having it?”
